Weatherstone is a beautiful community located in Mason, Ohio. This
website was created to provide valuable information to our fellow
association members and those who may be considering
Weatherstone for their next home.

2008 Weatherstone BBQ - The second annual WEATHERSTONE BBQ was
held on July 19th. We had a good turnout of neighbors. JOE HALPIN, resident
chef, provided the great eats for all the families! The neighbors all worked
together to set up shade tents to fight the heat-which provided early comic
relief! The MASON fire and paramedic teams stopped by for a blast of water
fun for the kids and some of the adults, and actually stayed around to chat up
the neighbors, play some corn hole and have some dinner! This year we
added face paining, temporary tattoos, sudsy animal water pool, and balloon
animals for the children! The face painters had some fantastic designs!
FRIENDLY’S ice cream sundaes, donated by KEVIN & NONA PEYTON, were a
special treat! The evening ended with an unexpected Fireworks show! We
look forward to keeping this a great WEATHERSTONE neighborhood tradition!
Look for information in the coming newsletters about how you can get involved
next year!

Weatherstone Safety Tips
*Close garage doors when not in use.
* Arrange for Post Office to hold mail or for a
neighbor to pick up newspapers/mail/other
deliveries which would indicate no one is
home.
*Look after your neighbor's house when
they are away, and ask them to look after
yours. Leave contact information to reach
you if an emergency should arise.
* Have a street phone list to alert neighbors
if suspicious activity noticed. A
Weatherstone Directory is being finalized
and will be available.
*Report any unusual or suspicious
behavior to the police. Write down
descriptions of the person(s) and license
number of any vehicles. Remember -- Your
job it to report crime. The responsibility for
apprehending criminals belongs to the
police.
*Above all, be concerned. Spending a few
extra seconds watching strangers walking,
or driving through your neighborhood is
enough to prevent may crimes.
*Sign up for Mason Police Alerts through
