MINUTES
I. Call to Order: Shannon Marcum, President, called the Meeting to
order at 7:00 pm at the Marival Clubhouse.
II. Attendance: Terrance Bacchus, Carla Brant, Amy Guiot (Open
portion only), Shannon Marcum, Ken Moyer, Shannon Plymire, Ron
Piontek
III. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: Typed Minutes were not
available from Sept. meeting. No questions regarding content.
Approval of October, November, and December e-mail minutes.
Carla motioned Shannon Marcum 2nds.
IV. 2007 Year End Review (Marcum)
Management Company change to Amity from Towne Properties
Transition to Groundmasters
Neighborhood Yard Sale and Cookout a success
Halloween Safe Houses – positive feedback, yet lack of participation
in canned food drive
Waterfall Pump and Redesign
Common area – daylilies moved, dead boxwoods removed and area
seeded
Updated and focused our guidelines to be “Weatherstone “ specific.”
Recovered over ½ of delinquent homeowner monies
Started Community Newsletter and Website
2007 Financial Review (Marcum)
*** Special Thanks to Terrance and Ron for their service on the
Board of Trustees. Shannon Marcum presented both members with
keys. (Keepsake)
V. Board Member Election – Property Management previously
states, as long as no one in attendance has an
objection, you may hold an election. Motion by Marcum to
proceed with election. Carla 2nds. Quorum of 43
members not met. 12 total votes. (5 proxies, 7 attendees). Vote
taken – 12 votes to elect the only candidate, Ken
Moyer, to the Board of Trustees.
*** Shannon Plymire makes motion for all Board members to be
“Members-at-Large” except for the President.

VI. 2008 Budget Presentation
VII. Goals/Priorities for 2008 - Discussed 3-yr plan for entrance of
neighborhood. Board will continue to refine
guidelines as new situations arise. Address yard issues faster.
Improve website content. Provide community
directory to new homeowners.
VIII. Reports:
A. Social – Shannon Plymire discussed “Neighborhood Watch”
Program/Safe Child Area. Possible activities include: Spring Golf
Outing, Mother/Daughter Tea, “Weatherstone Night’ at the Great
Wolf Lodge. Shannon also brought up the potential cut through of
Rt. 42 in the fall of 2008 through the neighborhood. Board has no
specific information as to city plans. Implemented “Welcome New
Residents” by street. Shannon appointed residents in charge of
organizing gift basket for new residents on their street.
B. Administration/Policy – Shannon Marcum needs a volunteer to
help in website maintenance. We are also looking for potential
sponsors for a community directory. Marcum motioned to have an
“open forum” at each quarterly meeting for all homeowners wanting
additional community information or to address questions/concerns.

C. Landscaping/Waterfall- Abandoned House info. Home is
currently owned under the name of a
business. Tee contacted business owner’s wife here in Mason. No
indication of future sale at this time.
IX. NEXT MEETING: TBA 7:00 p.m. at Marival Clubhouse.
